Joint Collaborations is an interactive, practical program designed to help healthcare professionals (HCPs) improve outcomes for patients with inflammatory arthritis. The program will benefit a mixed audience of different allied HCPs, general practitioners, and/or rheumatologists by maximizing audience inter-disciplinary collaboration and best-practice sharing. The evidence-based program content was developed with input from expert nurse specialists and vetted by leading rheumatologists across Canada. There are three modules — Disease State and Diagnosis, Therapeutic Management and Patient Education — designed to be flexible so that they can be combined or taken individually. These interactive modules use polling, annotation, open-discussion exercises and hypothetical case examples to stimulate discussion. Practical tools like checklists, links to resources, and tips have also been included to help allied HCPs support patients throughout their arthritis journey.
